Get to know me!
Steve Jobs
I’ve spent my entire adult life as a Registered Nurse in New York, working in Critical Care, Cardiovascular and the Emergency Department. I loved my time there. I even worked through COVID. It was stressful and when I finally retired and moved to the beautiful state of RI, I found the peace and serenity I needed. I am a mother to a wonderful daughter who is making her own way in the world. I’m very proud of her. I have always been a baker. My maternal ancestral line were wise women and homesteaders and I learned many skills. I wish to preserve and carry-on the traditions. One of my favorite was perfecting the skill of all things sourdough. That’s why I am here. To share my journey with you and make great bread together. I will be including sourdough baking workshops so you can make your own sourdough bake.
The things I loved to do besides baking, is reading a good book, taking walks along the beach, birding, spending time with friends and binging Netfix.
I love grey days sitting by a fire having chai or a glass of red wine. The fall is my favorite season in New England.
